RingJini on iPhone
The iPhone build is next, after Android. This is how it will work, so you know what to expect. The beta form records that you have an iPhone.

Why it's different on iPhone
iPhones don't let an app decide what happens to each call. So RingJini works with Apple's own setting instead: Screen Unknown Callers, set to Silence. With it on, calls from numbers that aren't in your contacts, recent calls or Siri suggestions don't ring; the network treats them as unanswered, and forwarding sends them to RingJini instead of voicemail.
What setup will ask you to do
- In Settings › Apps › Phone, set Screen Unknown Callers to Silence.
- Turn Live Voicemail off, so that silenced calls reach RingJini rather than voicemail.
- Save the RingJini contact, so RingJini's calls show its name when it puts a call through.
- Switch forwarding on. The app shows the codes for your network; you dial them in the Phone app, or use your network's app (MyJio, for example).
What RingJini can't do on iPhone
- It can't dial the forwarding codes for you, or read your settings. The app shows them.
- It can't make your phone ring a second time by itself. For an urgent call it rings you again from its own number.
- It can't tell when you switch Screen Unknown Callers off. If you travel or change the setting, pause RingJini first.
Everything else is the same: your rules, your calls, the transcripts, the outcomes.
